We’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for first hand memories of those who worked in Corby's steel industry over its 90 year history.

Share your experience of the steel works and how they helped to shape Corby into what it is today. Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Leicester based storytellers MBD are creating an immersive storytelling experience. Your living memory will help shape the project and be shared with others in the project archive.

Immersive yourself in the steel making past of Corby. From the founding of the town, to the thundering sounds and orange glow of the steel works, all the way up to today - Steel Town Tales is the brand new virtual reality experience from award winning creatives, MBD.

Running at the Savoy Cinema from 20th July until 18th August, don’t miss the opportunity to experience the history of Corby like you never have before. Including archive interviews from those who lived and worked in the steel works, you will be taken on a journey through history and learn all about how the steel works ran.
